Diggory doesn’t have a complex regarding dead bodies per se (Redwood has terrible OSHA compliance and despite healing magic being A Thing, the casualty rate here is higher than average), he just doesn’t like the bits and pieces- that’s just gross. He also doesn’t think children should be subjected to that, because he’s a decent human being.
