Humanish

Hey!!! We made it to the end of chapter three!! Oh my GOD

okay, so at the time of me writing this (early Nov), I’ve recently lost all the original files for Humanish’s prologue. This sucks- like really, really sucks. BUT, there’s a silver lining here, and that’s that you all get shiny NEW pages!! I’m putting the production of future Humanish pages on hiatus until I remake all the essential pages in the prologue. Not every page NEEDS to be replaced right now, especially since I have no intention of taking Humanish to print anytime soon. But there are a whole bunch of scenes that could really use a boost. Things that will change include:

– Milt’s nose will now be pointy in every page!! No more weird tiny nose Milt

– Kingfisher’s introduction won’t have her being weirdly quiet!! It’s Kingfisher- she never shuts up.

– Even More Sass, especially from Auburn

On top of that, I think I’ll take this opportunity to fix up some of the weaker scenes in Chapter One and Two as well- but not to the extent of the prologue (I am NOT about to rewrite 300 pages thanks). I’ll let you guys know if anything big changes, but for the most part it’s just gonna be color correction and dialogue stuff.

If you’re reading this, it means I wasn’t able to finish all the edits in time, but you can go back and try to spot all the changes I made up until this point, if you’d like! There will probably be a lot!

EDIT: the prologue’s adjustments are all finished!

There’s actually a scene I want to replace in early Chapter One and then two pages to reconstruct in Chapter Three and that’ll be the end of all the heavy adjustments. I’ll be more active about this on social media now that the last page of Chapter Three is up. And after that? We’ll be moving into our first Intermission! Who wants to see baby Milt and Sedna meet? We all do! I’m sure they got along great.
