The third panel is intentionally similar to Rei’s pose on the second page, and was supposed to return a third time, but I sacrificed it for the sake of character accuracy. What I do for my craft. For the longest time there was a shadow of a body in one of those pools but my own dark humor does not belong in this cute romance comic – it was banished.

Tiny Milt and Sedna show up in that middle panel! So does Stonebreaker’s Anya, and 2 Slices’ Rio and Ruka. So does one of my brother’s OCs? It’s a wild gang.

Hammer being happy to see Rei before being justifiably interrupted (no romance THIS early you fool) is a small detail that’s very cute to me. Von’s interruption is a gag that is SO FUNNY to me, but doesn’t seem to be a reader favorite. Ah well.

Kicking myself for not making Von’s headdress leaves pointy like the rest of the leaves around the area.

lol this time the final version of Rei’s face is more bitchy. It’s not their fault you’re a hazard dude, chill.
