After reading through Octopus Pie I declare the lettering here uninspired. Lessons have been learnt! The intent still comes across, so it’s cool.

I referenced aye-ayes for the lemurs in the comic, but never got a chance to showcase their best feature, which is their cool little hands. Look em up, it’s awesome. I did them a gross injustice.

And you can tell that this is a future au comic with world-weary, matured (lol) characters, because Hammer’s learned to just roll with whatever the hell is going on. There’s so much less grumping. It’s because of looooooooove. I can capture the dumbass energy…. but…. to make a cute!shipping comic inherently (in my preference) demands that the characters be comfortable around one another, and have learned to balance their quirks. Which means there’s some ooc-ness as I presume character development- the goal though is to keep the core of the characters the same. Just smooth those jagged canon edges with witty banter and warm color pallets! No one has to know.

Read Vainglorious, the comic where all the annoying kids in class are sent to detention and come back stronger.
