Anyway commentary! Here’s the sketch of the page

Coming up with outfits for the trio was a fun challenge – they still had to look like they belonged to the universe, but also not be complete ripoffs of clothes we saw previously. Additionally, this is supposed to be set in a vague “future”, so logically the differences would extend beyond their clothes. But the differences couldn’t be too extreme lest they appear to be presuming story beats or just distracting. For example, Hammer’s ears being pierced and hairstyle being different is fine, we’ve seen his hair change already and pierced ears are common enough in the story that it’s more of a reference to the soul stone scene than anything else. But if I’d given anyone a wicked cool scar or tattoo or beard, that’d just be distracting, even if they would have showed the passage of time more clearly (that said, let’s all imagine them with beards, for good luck). Looking back I could have made his hair longer, or changed up Von’s hair more. Alas, I was but an ignorant child.

Ummmm what else… I referenced Japanese red maples and red marble for the environment, but I was pretty lenient on accuracy. I just wanted it to look pretty! Also each character has their favorite color in their outfits! Sleeve lengths change throughout the comic, don’t feel the need to keep an eye on that for me.
